Opportunity to generate international awareness for SSI leaders

IAPP’s Privacy Tech Report 2020 Call-for-submissions closes Friday, Aug.
21, 2020


Hi All,

Michael Becker and I have uncovered an opportunity to gain recognition for
the self-sovereign identity movement and more specifically leading SSI
players.

The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) has a call
for submissions for their H2 2020 IAPP Privacy Tech Tech Vendor Report. The
deadline for submission for this year’s report is this Friday, August 21th.

While is is not perfect, we’d recommend that SSI players use the “Consent
Management” and any other category you deem relevant to your product. In
your description be sure to refer to your solution as being self-sovereign
identity related.

We have a call schedule with the IAPP in about 3 weeks to help them
understand the importance of the emerging SSI “privacy technologies”
category. If we get enough submission it is our hope to persuade them carve
a specific SSI section in the next or future reports.
