The work of the W3C VC EDU is foundational to the IEEE initiative, informing on a number of recommended practices around Modeling Educational Verifiable Credentials <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pt-VNnjoYgl23Mlu0Tjyax5RgANPBfDijERz0SNYfSo/edit#heading=h.t19npk98rich>.

The purpose of the ILR Recommended Practices is to provide standard implementation guidance for integrating relevant technical standards.
