Anil, I'm totally agreed in acknowledging DIF in their generous offer, and really appreciate that you brought this up. Thank you DIF members, many of who are also CCG members! I'm also happy to share that the collaboration doesn't look like it's ending at that--there are active discussions about how DIF, CCG, and even other groups in the ecosystem can benefit from this open approach, and what contributions each group may offer further.

I think Zoom was the first approach many of us considered when looking for a solution that would satisfy our needs because of its ease of installation and management. It is still an option under consideration until the decision is finalized, as our first priority is to have a running system that is workable for our meetings.

Personally I'm most excited about the potential to extend CCG Bot to facilitate work items, note-taking, and other conferencing functionality for our needs in an open and reusable way.
