Greetings, The article linked below, which I saw published today, gives evidence that globally we're headed into and possibly already in a social disaster caused by the conjunction of psychological addiction, the advertising model, and the smartphone. The special focus of the article is on the opinions and life changes made by some of the major software engineers—like the inventor of the "Like" button—who are now expressing this idea themselves. https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/oct/05/smartphone-addiction-silicon-valley-dystopia I think the article makes a strong case—even though the author probably doesn't realize it—that what this credentials group is doing is becoming ever more important. The general direction of the article won't be new to most in this group, but IMO the level of detail and sense of urgency make it worth reading carefully. Steven
