At the last Community Council group, there started a discussion over
chairing. Right now, we don't have a very clear chairing mechanism and
they have no special powers. Therefore, I think we should figure out
what the chairing powers are.
Powers I heard suggested:
1) Ability to customize home-page (we'd need to do something with
WordPress admin for this, not sure how easy that will be)
2) Ability to remove people from mailing list (we'd need a form for this).
Any others?
Also, there was a request that groups be able to call the chair
something else if they wanted, like "Co-ordinator" or "Beta". I'm
thinking we should max groups out at 3 possible co-chairs.
There also needs I would assume to be some way for the current chair to
"pass" chairing on to another person in an automatic fashion.
