First of all, anyone can subscribe to a list. Second, I don't think we want chairs to say who can be in a group and who can't be. So for the moment, that power only resides with the staff, which is considered neutral. > > Any others? > > Also, there was a request that groups be able to call the chair something else if they wanted, like "Co-ordinator" or "Beta". I'm thinking we should max groups out at 3 possible co-chairs. There can be as many chairs as a group wants; that's up to the group. I propose not to specify a limit in the process. > > There also needs I would assume to be some way for the current chair to "pass" chairing on to another person in an automatic fashion. +1 to a group needing to be able to manage "who is chair" by themselves. That's on our todo list. Ian > > cheers, > harry > > > > > -- Ian Jacobs (ij@w3.org) http://www.w3.org/People/Jacobs/ Tel: +1 718 260 9447
