Update on my comment yesterday. Spotted another issue with type=button also requiring a lbel

 Current test says it's applicable to 

For all input elements except those of type "radio", "submit", or "reset", and all textarea and select elements in the Web page:

This means labels are required for type=hidden and type=button, but not required for type=radio. Worth noting that type=button gets label in same way as type=submit and type=reset
