Name: Sheena McCullagh Email: sheena.mccullagh@blueyonder.co.uk Affiliation: None Document: UW Item Number: Understanding Conformance Part of Item: Intent Comment Type: editorial Summary of Issue: URI in confomance claim returns 404 error Comment (Including rationale for any proposed change): I claimed conformance for my own web site yesterday and did it by copy and pasting from your example code amending date and my own URI, so it was virtually verbatim of Example 2, but when I tried to make http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/REC-WCAG20-20081211/ into an active link, it returned Error 404. NB you have this same URI in each of the examples of conformance claims. Proposed Change: Change the link to the one we are supposed to use in conformance claims. With no other guidance I set it to point to http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20/. (From a personal perspective I hope this is acceptable as I write by hand I put the claim in the meta data of all the pages (around 60 of them) and I really don't want to have to change it on each page in turn.)
