Name: Patrick H. Lauke Email: redux@splintered.co.uk Affiliation: Document: W2 Item Number: Guideline 1.1: Provide text alternatives for any non-text ... Part of Item: Comment Type: technical Summary of Issue: 1.1. Non-text Content / Controls-Input Comment (Including rationale for any proposed change): \"...then it has a name that describes its purpose.\" Name? Should it not be label, if it\'s an input control? The term \"label\" would seem tech agnostic enough, so not just a reference to <label> element in HTML, so could be applicable to all types of content. Proposed Change: \"...then it has a *label* that describes its purpose.\"
