The user agent accessibility guideines will also move forward, so I suggest we deal with what is in the world, what can be in the world and when it is available, what may come up in uaag 2.0. the best way to do this is to use uag 1.0 as a springboard and let people know that if they want also to meet future user agent targets, this is how they can do it. We are not there yet. Nother thing that could be done would be to wait perhaps till 2006 to publish the guidelines in order to give the ua developpers time to catch up but that does not cover today's shortfalls. Instead of trying to figure out whether then to use uaag or repair, we should be correcting current author practices and policies of implementation. If the wcag are written correctly, uaag 2.0 will have something on which to depend. If not, it will not. Johnnie Apple Seed
