COGA special meeting tomorrow/Thursday: Rachael's WCAG 3 conformance explainer

Hi, COGA folks, there will be a special COGA meeting tomorrow/Thursday
about an important topic that COGA members need to understand and help
weigh in on. See below for key details, thanks.

*Background*

   - Earlier this week, on Monday's COGA task force call, we talked about
   the AG's proposed conformance model for WCAG 3 and what COGA can do to help
   ensure that cognitive requirements and assertions are sufficiently
   represented in the conformance model.
   - We looked at slide 7 in the AG's proposed conformance deck

   but that slide is now outdated.
   - Please see the section below for details about the new slides that the
   AG chairs added yesterday.

*Special COGA meeting: Thursday, October 23rd, at 10am ET*

   - Rachael, who is one of the AG co-chairs, will meet with COGA to
   explain the two conformance models that are being debated and to answer
   COGA's questions about them.
   - She will explain in detail:

*Conformance survey deadline: Thursday, October 27th, by end of day*

   - The AG chairs shared a conformance survey

   meeting. It asks about Options 1 and 2.
   - Julie asked for more time to submit responses, but the AG chairs need
   to close the survey Monday night so the results can be discussed at
   Tuesday's AG meeting.
   - We scheduled a special meeting for tomorrow/Thursday so that COGA
   members will have time to process Rachael's explanation and make an
   informed decision on how to fill out the survey.
   - We encourage all COGA members to attend tomorrow's meeting with
   Rachael, and we'll do a quick recap at Monday's regular COGA task force
   meeting.
