Hi EA and Lisa, To clarify, I wasn’t referring to private reports. Rather to secondary research that has not been published within peer reviewed journals (e.g. government and 3rd sector reports). From what I saw of the proposed methodology, it was specifying only to search from peer reviewed sources. Regards Abi On 28 Nov 2023, at 13:06, E.A. As W3C likes to have the title of the paper first (https://www.w3.org/Guide/manual-of-style/#ref-section ) maybe it will just be as per the example below… “Digital Accessibility Report (version), Name of company or authors, Unpublished internal company document. date and company website or direct link”. Hi One issue with Abis proposal is we will need some type of reference. Would it make sense to use an email to this list as a reference with as much information as possible (such as number of participants, selection criteria) as well as the findings? Is there a way to contribute remotely? One question I have on this work is there any direction on the standard and source of research? The google doc discusses only academic research sources. I have collated many industry and policy reports related to financial and public services that have insights into digital experience for a people with a range of disabilities. While these are not peer review research, they often provide wider insights (e.g. based on large population survey or collating national statistics) where scientific studies are limited. I know there are other industries with similar resources, including insights from user research that could be beneficial to document. Hi folks We decided on the last two calls to update the user research modules. Can you take a look at the discussion below and see what module you can update? Also please ask colleagues and others who may have done a similar review. (If we can use their work as well we will give them a credit and if there is a research grant this will count as dissemination and harmonization with standards!) The user research module looks at accessibility challenges from the user point of view, typically as groups of users.See coga-user-research/<https://www.w3.org/TR/coga-user-research/>. This involves looking for research on where these user groups struggle to use content and what Web design strategies can support them. We may also need to update the descriptions of disabilities. We are aiming to get the literary review done by february and the analysis in March. To do this we will need to check for new research as a literary review to update the following modules: * Autistic people * dyslexia * down syndrome and intellectual disabilities * Aphasia * age related and dementia * dyscalculia * non verbal * (We already have someone working on ADD) We are also intending to add new modules on: * mental health * Illness (chemo brain, post viral infections such as long covid etc ) * General learning and cognitive disabilities using functional needs as the user needs Also you can see our guidelines of how to do a litarty review<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wu0WYcvCpp-zIz2NzPk2AuTJOrzgh3T4sKQgzCa10ps/edit>. Of course we can add another module if it is of particular interest to you or a colleague .
