Hello All, and thanks for this helpful summary, David. The upshot of our conversations on last week's COGA call is the addition of the statement David reproduces to the draft APA Charter. I would add only that all non-normative references to deliverables in the new APA Charter are illustrative and use the "such as" phrase. There's no effort to be exhaustive nor fully inclusive of all anticipated deliverables. Rather, the examples are intended to show the kind of work expected. I regret a previous commitment prevents me from joining the COGA call this week. We are eager to move forward with a Call for Consensus on the draft APA Charter, so feedback asap is important. Thanks, Janina David Fazio writes: > APA doesn’t specifically mention Task Forces in their charter, but list deliverables that include them instead. That being said, I’ve pasted below the proposed mention that would continue COGA as a joint task force, as well as the current charter link to compare it to. I told APA we would review and either accept or propose an edit. > > "Information about accessibility needs of specific user groups, such as Making content usable for people with cognitive and learning disabilities;" > > Current Charter link: https://www.w3.org/2018/08/apa-charter > > > > David Fazio, President | [signature_1906900316] <https://www.linkedin.com/in/davidpfazio/> > [A picture containing sitting Description automatically generated]| [signature_1371857514] <https://www.linkedin.com/company/helixopportunity> > P. 510.590.7363| e. dfazio@helixopp.com<mailto:dfazio@helixopp.com>| W. www.helixopp.com<http://www.helixopp.com> > > [A blue and white sign Description automatically generated with low confidence] [Logo Description automatically generated] > > > > -- Janina Sajka https://linkedin.com/in/jsajka Linux Foundation Fellow Executive Chair, Accessibility Workgroup: http://a11y.org The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Co-Chair, Accessible Platform Architectures http://www.w3.org/wai/apa
