I'm not sure if everyone already knows about rawgit.com and how it helps read html files on github? Just change github.com to rawgit.com in the URL. OR visit rawgit.com and paste in the URL you want to view. Thus https://rawgit.com/w3c/coga/new-titles-and-intros/gap-analysis/index.html Technically all it does is serve up the github resource with the correct mime-types so the browser knows how to display it.
