Re: SC #23, criticism: already ongoing work

Hi John. The Web Authentication: An API for accessing Scoped Credentials is a recommended technique for our SC.

We met with them at TPAC, as part of APA working group. In other words, we do coordinate with them and work with them - mainly via APA which is one of our parent groups.

However we still need to get a SC criteria into WCAG on this issue. That is our job as part of WCAG. In other words we need to do, and are trying to do, both.

All the best

    Hi All,

This memo is about the Accessible Authentication SC # 23.

Criticism: There is already current, ongoing work specifically about accessible authentication. (See references below.)

 Should we:
contribute to those efforts rather than submit our own SC; OR
include info, from those efforts, into a SC revision we (I) submit?
