I don't really understand the need for <http://www.w3.org/TR/2005/WD-WICD-20051219/#scalable-overlay-object> given that this functionality is well-defined in CSS 2.1 which is referenced by the specification. The last paragraph of the section, however, "The use of absolute positioning often involves assumptions on the screen size." seems accurate, but as noted it should probably in authoring guidelines and not in the specification. -- Anne van Kesteren <http://annevankesteren.nl/> <http://www.opera.com/>
