I would also suggest to Governance group to propose a data for voting in this matter as, at some point, we have to make a decision. No pressure, but it would be great if such decision can be reached before the first week of December so it can be included in the poster we will have at SWAT4LS.

The governance group have been discussing the fact that we need to bring this discussion to a close, but we also want it to have the freedom to explore the issues. We were about to draw it to a vote when we reached agreement on the direct use ontology terms rather than using the additionalProperty mechanism.

The remaining issue now is whether we want a single defined term or allow data providers freedom to use whatever terms they see fit.

Let see if we can reach consensus on this, otherwise we will put it to a vote.
