I was having reservations about using the MIDI logo font, because the W3C logo terms and conditions seem to allow people to copy bits of the logo and use them wherever they like -- which would undermine the integrity of the MIDI logo itself. Hopefully that problem can be solved in the small print... I personally don't like the orange colour of the HTML5 logo, and I think the word WEB should be more prominent -- for emphasis on MMA packaging. I also think it might be a good idea to mention the W3C itself -- "for advertising purposes". The W3C terms and conditions say (I think) that the logo colours can be changed. Such a logo could be provided in various default versions... Here's one in black on W3C blue (from the XHTML 1.1 logo). http://james-ingram.de/demos/W3CWebMIDILogos/W3CWebMIDILogoSketches.png I think it looks a bit black. An outline font or a different colour (e.g. a bright blue) for "WEB MIDI" might help. Colours could be different in print and on screen... Sorry, but I don't have any experience with SVG editors... best, James
