I'm surprised to see that according to https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/audio/raw-file/tip/webaudio/specification.html#down-mix, downmixing from 5.1 -> quad -> stereo gives different results from 5.1 -> stereo. Other combinations have similar issues. Is that intentional? (What motivated the choice of these rules?)
