The hook between our issue tracking and our list is quite crucial. Yes, this should be possible with Github hooks. But it will require some coordination with the W3C to authorize (needs a "secret" list token). I love bugzilla's ability to search for "all the issues fixed more than 2 weeks ago and containing a link to a changeset" and save that search. Having that makes my life as co-chair a little more convenient. I suspect we may be able to do something similar with github issue labels? I personally make use of milestones (which I make into work packages) to coordinate similar things - in addition to labels. Though I don't think the search is as sophisticated. -- Marcos Caceres
