Personally I think this would make things a lot easier, having simple pull requests, a nicer issue tracker, being able to simply cross-reference commits from issues and vice versa, etc. I am not opposed to moving away from mercurial, provided we can find a good solution to the 'latest editor's draft" question. > What does everyone think? Are there some potential problems with this? I know that moving the existing issues to GitHub would be a pain, but perhaps we can think of a nice script to do this for us. I haven't used gut hub issues much in the past. With that disclaimer in mind, two questions I can think of: 1) Is there is a way for github to Cc our mailing list for every issue open and every comment / change? The hook between our issue tracking and our list is quite crucial. 2) I might be the only one, but I do make extensive use of bugzilla's advanced search. I love bugzilla's ability to search for "all the issues fixed more than 2 weeks ago and containing a link to a changeset" and save that search. Having that makes my life as co-chair a little more convenient. I suspect we may be able to do something similar with github issue labels?
