Folks, _____ From: Chris Rogers [mailto:crogers@google.com] Distance attenuation is handled in the Web Audio API like it is in OpenAL. Please see .distanceModel and associated attributes: https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/audio/raw-file/tip/webaudio/specification.html#AudioP annerNode-section The distance models are defined exactly as OpenAL. Please see section 3.4: http://connect.creativelabs.com/openal/Documentation/OpenAL%201.1%20Specific ation.pdf FYI, if I remember correctly OpenAL defines distance models by reference to IASIG I3DL2: http://www.iasig.org/pubs/3dl2v1a.pdf. And I think Microsoft (xbox) and Sony (playstation) also use IASIG I3DL2 definitions. Tom White MMA/IASIG
