I don't think we are ready to merge.

 

After spending time working on prose to explain role generic, I have more
questions than answers. Posting comments today.

Matt,

Are they comments which prevent merging? We need to get this progressing as
it has been in limbo for the last 2 weeks. If your comments can be fixed
later I suggest we merge and deal with them after.
