For clarification:  Do you mean an *implicit* presentational role?  A
goofy interpretation of your statement above is where an author adds
both a role="presentation" and some other semantic to the element, which
is clearly an author error.

An example of the implicit case:  a <table role="presentation"> ...
where the <td> elements all inherit an implicit presentational role, but
the author wants to add semantics to one of the <td>s.  Then the author
is overriding the presentational role of that <td>.
