aria-ISSUE-1043: [ARIA 1.1] http://www.w3.org/WAI/ARIA/track/issues/1043 Raised by: Ann Abbott On product: ARIA 1.1 Regarding the visibility of the target of aria-details, the Digital publishing people would like to change the authors MUST to an authors SHOULD. This is because, by default, publishers will want the authors to not expose the additional details as it would interrupt the flow in books. They want the ability to toggle the rendering of the detailed information in the book readers: http://rawgit.com/w3c/aria/master/aria/aria.html#aria-details So the net change is to change the authors MUST to an authors SHOULD.
