Yeah, semantically they are different. That is also why some of them don't apply or sound strange. But we can probably get inspired, for instance we can use schema.org as supporting evidence for introducing 'assessing', which is more generic than 'reviewing' (a formal assessment or examination of something with the possibility or intention of instituting change if necessary).
