Shepazu[1] just left a note on "Web Annotation Data Model"[2]. > It is expected that if a State is present, it will be processed first to ensure the correct representation is retrieved. Then, if there is a Selector, it would be applied to determine the correct segment of the representation. This is written in an informative style, but seems like it should be normative. You won't get the right selection if you don't start with the correct state. In general, should we define some sort of processing model for the data model, to define sequence of operations, for example? I'm not sure of the right procedure here.
