Ethics will play an important role in putting restrictions on functionality. 
And precisely in this much overlooked field of AI voice assistants, things that are currently hard to cover in KR will be of crucial importance of AI.
The Amazon study is important, because it shows precisely the problem of thinking within a too narrowly defined field of reasoning based on banter or noise input.
