Hi Adapt, Regarding symbols, I have continued updating the explainer [1]; in our call today my suggestion is that we concentrate on the 'FIXME' notes (you can search the page for that string to find them) and a couple of other details (such as: are the notes on the nature of symbols, in the section immediately after 'Out of scope', correct?) Regarding well-known destinations [2] I've had some unexpected IRL stuff come up (pretty-much sorted now, nothing major) so haven't made huge progress (yet!) on the document, but I have clarified in my mind what our ask [3] is, so after checking that with you on the call I'd be happy to contact Phil. One small note: I temporarily took out the references to the overall Adapt explainer out of the two specific ones, as it's not yet ready, and may not be before TPAC - makes sense for us to concentrate on the two specific ones right now. best regards, Matthew [1] https://github.com/w3c/adapt/blob/add-explainers/explainers/symbols.md [2] https://github.com/w3c/adapt/blob/add-explainers/explainers/well-known-desti nations.md [3] https://www.w3.org/2024/08/06-adapt-minutes#t04 Also, for convenience, our initial reply to Phil's input: <https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-adapt/2024May/0015.html> Matthew Atkinson Head of Web Standards Samsung R&D Institute UK Samsung Electronics +44 7733 238 020 Samsung R&D Institute (SRUK), Communications House, South Street, Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey, TW18 4QE.
