Hi all, This came up on a recent APA call, and then again on Twitter, and I think there could be some overlap with Adapt. The Web Application Security WG [1] (not the same as the WebApps WG) has a spec for a "well-known URL for changing passwords", which makes it easy for users or their agents to get to this feature, for a particular site/service. https://www.w3.org/TR/change-password-url/ This is the only "well-known" URL offered so far (of which I'm aware). As Steve Lee pointed out on Twitter [2], COGA may be most interested in this. Of course we got our list of actions and destinations from COGA, but maybe this is an opportune point to synch up with them on the latest in this area. If they think it'd help, maybe we could work with the Web Applications Security WG to create a series of well-known URLs? Note: some actions and destinations are, of course, _not_ site-wide, but I'm wondering if it's worth exploring this as a vehicle for those that are. I can envisage a browser extension that provides the user with a convenient way to get to any supported well-known tasks on a given site. Maybe one already exists. I fancy it would be quite easy to make one! best regards, Matthew [1] https://www.w3.org/groups/wg/webappsec [2] https://twitter.com/SteveALee/status/1577924378091819009 -- Matthew Tylee Atkinson (he/him) -- Principal Accessibility Engineer TPG Interactive https://www.tpgi.com A Vispero Company https://www.vispero.com -- This message is intended to be confidential and may be legally privileged.
