Dear Sharon, Lionel, All: I am offering a significant rewording for our Sec. 3.6 Symbol in the following PR: https://github.com/w3c/adapt/pull/209 As I read through this document this week I became convinced we could say what we needed to say more clearly, especially with respect to international and content translation.
