Re: AccessLearn Member Introductions

Hi everyone!

Thanks a lot to Sarah for taking the initiative to create this group.

After Sarah and Tara, this is my turn to introduce myself. I am 34,
French (pardon my English...), and founded Access42
<http://access42.net/-home-.html?lang=en>, a cooperative enterprise
<http://www.les-scop.coop/sites/en/index.html> specialized in digital
accessibility. I have been working in the digital accessibility field
since 2007.

We do consultancy, but Access42 is also a training center. My colleagues
and I are writing free resources to help people including accessibility
in their Web projects, we also wrote an operational reference guide of
the WCAG 2 for the French government (RGAA 3
<http://references.modernisation.gouv.fr/rgaa-3-0-RC2-1>, based on the
AccessiWeb reference guide), and one of our new fields of research is
about building accessible MOOCs, working with a group of French
universities in order to write a reference guide with best practices
about designing an inclusive MOOC.

I am also engaged in different associations promoting Free Software, and
founded Freedom #0 <http://liberte0.org/en/index.html>, an association
promoting accessible free software.

As a professional and an activist, I sincerely believe Education is the
key to build an inclusive society. So when I read on Twitter Sarah
wanted to create this working group, I enthusiastically supported this
creation. I look forward to sharing about those subjects with you.

Cheers,
Armony
