Patrick opened <https://github.com/http2/http2-spec/pull/323> a little while back, wherein he suggests we shorten our protocol identifier to just "h2". What do people think about this? Similarly, the ALPN draft registers "HTTP/1.1". Thinking about this, is it appropriate to specify the minor protocol version (which implies compatibility on the wire) in the ALPN identifier? I.e., should we advise the TLS WG to just make this "HTTP/1" or even just "h1"? Cheers, -- Mark Nottingham http://www.mnot.net/
