ok, so perhaps i am subject to auditory hallucinations, but what, then IS a
dependent user agent?  a rendering agent that relies upon another agents'
engine?  where does "dependent" end and "assistive" begin?  personally, i
perceive HPR as a dependent user agent (as it depends upon NS to obtain the
content that it renders) and JFW as an assistive technology that (rather
impressively) maximizes the functionality inherent (if incipiently so) in
MSIE...

i know that this flies in the face of the definition of the term "dependent
user agent" as it appears in the 22 October draft, but it is the only
distinction that makes sense to me -- and one which i enunciated in redmond...
