Multiple definitions for "baseline"

The term "baseline" has different definitions in work of different WGs.
For example,  "baseline" is defined as the initial value of the CSS
'vertical-align' property [1], and has its definition in that context..

I'm not suggesting calling WCAG2.0 "baseline" something else; I just think 
it's
interesting that the term is used in different contexts.
