I had an action to draft text for XHR following redirects. The current draft at http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/~checkout~/2006/webapi/XMLHttpRequest/publish/XMLHttpRequest.html?rev=1.5&content-type=text/html;%20charset=iso-8859-1#idl-meth-XMLHttpRequest-send already contains an accurate description of the behaviour so I consider my action to be closed.
