I thought I had said this many times before, but I'll repeat it:

role="" is *not* part of RDFa, it was a passing mistake in one of the
WDs. The latest version of the Primer should clear this up.

Please please please refer *only* to the latest Primer version:
http://www.w3.org/2006/07/SWD/RDFa/primer/

How does the latest Primer mess up the output in RDF/XML?
