Would you guys be ok with Markdown (CommonMark) on this list?

Hi,

I wonderwhether you would be OK, if I'd send my emails formatted with
Markdown in the *CommonMark* syntax?

On macOS Markdown is supported by MaleMate, otherwise there is an
extension here -> http://markdown-here.com, that, in addition to
Thunderbird also runs on Postbox, Safari, Chrome and Firefox (within
Gmail's webmailer, for example). People, who use plaintext only MUA's
(Emacs, Pine, mutt, etc.) would need to voice their opinion on this the
loudest, because the additional markup would affect them the most.
