I am happy to announce that version 15.2 of oXygen XML Editor is
available from our website

This new version implements support for working multiple XML Schema
language versions, oXygen understanding now the vc:minVersion and
vc:maxVersion attributes if these are set on the XML Schema root
element. We provide also new document templates for creating XML Schema
1.0 and XML Schema 1.1 documents that will automatically set the vc:*
attributes to match that specific XML Schema version.

Another XML Schema specific addition in oXygen XML Editor 15.2 is an
improvement to the "flatten schema" action that flattens also imported
schemas, so in the end you will obtain one schema file for each
namespace irrespective of the number of schema files referred though
include or import instructions.

There were many improvements to the Schematron support and one of these
relates directly to XML Schema, that is the usage of embedded Schematron
rules inside XML Schema. oXygen XML Editor 15.2 comes with a pre-defined
validation scenario named "Validate XML Schema with embedded Schematron"
that will validate both the XML Schema file and the embedded Schematron

For the complete list of new additions and more details about the XML
Schema specific functionality please see the release notes at

Best Regards,
George Cristian Bina
