Dear Colleague, On Monday, October 15, 2007 the Boeing XML Community of Practice will host a free one-day conference in Seattle - XML @ Boeing - Adoption of XML Standards. This event will addresses the current state of XML and related standards. Presenters will share lessons learned, an overview of XML standards, how to use them from the implementers' perspective, helpful resources and best practices. Topics will include a Open XML formats, and using Office XML on the desktop, implementing XML Query in semi-structured information and data management and Boeing's implementation of S1000D and XML in the 787 program. On behalf of XML @ Large and the Boeing XML Community of Practice, we extend an invitation to you to participate in this event.
