Dear XML Schema Dev list folks: As chair of the Schema WG, I want to apologize sincerely for not having sent this announcement to the list sooner. This oversight was a simple mistake on my part; xmlschema-dev has been and continues to be a very important information source for the WG. That said, there are 6 weeks or so remaining in the last call period, so please give us your comments if you are inclined to do so. If possible, post your comments to Bugzilla as described below; posting to Bugzilla helps the WG assure proper processing of comments, including notification of the commenter on the results. We appreciate your continued attention to our work. Best regards, David Ezell, chair XML Schema WG <snip/> The XML Schema Working Group announces the transition of the document "W3C XML Schema Definition Language (XSDL) 1.1 Part 1: Structures"[1] to Last Call. Comments on this document should be made in W3C's public installation of Bugzilla [2], specifying "XML Schema" as the product. Instructions for using Bugzilla can be found at [3]. If access to Bugzilla is not feasible, please send your comments to the W3C XML Schema comments mailing list [4] (archive). Each Bugzilla entry and email message should contain only one comment. The end of the Last Call review period is 8 November 2007; comments received after that date will be considered if time allows, but no guarantees can be offered. The preliminary decision to make this transition was made at the teleconference on August 3[5], with the actual decision being made by WBS[6]. This document satisfies a requirement of the working group charter [7]. No patent disclosures have been made to date relevant to this working draft. Thanks very much for your kind attention.
