Inevitably, this makes me look back at my entry and want to update it...
Saxon-SA

S axon 8 is schema-aware.

Saxon (http://www.saxonica.com/)

Saxon-SA provides schema-aware implementations of XSLT 2.0, XQuery 1.0, and XPath 2.0, and also a free-standing schema processor. This includes an implementation of the schema object model, and a fully pipelined validator. Schema checking and document validation can both be invoked either via a simple Java API, or from the command line. Conformance to the XML Schema specification is very close to 100%, and the remaining limitations are carefully documented.

Schema processing is available only in the commercial version of the Saxon product, which is available for a free 30-day evaluation. The current release provides a complete implementation of the XSLT 2.0, XPath 2.0, and XQuery 1.0 Candidate Recommendations of 3 November 2005, including all optional features with the exception of the XQuery static typing option.

Michael Kay http://www.saxonica.com/ > > In future, requests for listing/update (sent as always to > xmlschema-dev@w3.org) will be handled within one week _if_ they > include a pre-formatted attachment per the following template: > >
*[Name]*
> >
>
*[Message subject]* *[Your name]* > *[Message date]*
> >
[One -- three short descriptive paragraphs, no links]
> >
[Final short paragraph with link] href="*[URL]*">*[URL]*
>
> >
*[Message date]* *[Name]*
> > *[Name]* > > ht > > [1] http://www.w3.org/XML/Schema.html#Tools > - -- > Henry S.
