XSV to validate schema instance

Hi

I have installed XSV under Windows and tried

xsv  file.xml file.xsd

to validate file.xml against the schema in file.xsd. I got no errors but the output says the validation was lax, and even when I edit either the xml or xsd file so that file.xml in not a valid instance of file.xsd I still get no errors.

Can anyone let me know what I am doing wrong?
