Thanks to George and Henry for replying to the previous post. I apologize for the schema file attachment, It appears it didn't come through correctly. Here is a link to it on the web. http://www.qml-org.com/QML_eng/versions_e.htm In addition to the previously listed validators, I also checked the schema against the online XSV 2.5-2 which checked out OK. and <oXygen/> XML which also reported: "E derivation-ok-restriction.2.1.2: Error for type 'DefectType_Type'. The attribute use 'k2004' in this type has type 'null', which is not validly derived from 'null', the type of the matching attribute use in the base type." etc.... Are there different interpretations of the standard or do some validators not check everything? I just need some professional opinions. Thanks again for all your help. Carl B.
