Re: Just want to make sure I understand anyType correctly

It's not easy to be sure whether you're OK or not, given the
fragmentary nature of the information you've supplied.  Certainly
elements whose type definition is xs:anyType should allow any contents
at all.

Have you tried another validator, as a cross-check?
