You missed the comment above the declarations:
This schema should never be used as such:
<a href="http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-1/#no-xsi">the
XML Schema Recommendation</a> forbids the declaration
of attributes in this namespace.
But I guess making it more accurate wouldn't hurt.
