I'm still working on
http://www.w3.org/XML/2000/04schema-hacking/xhtml-mathml-ex.html
I'm currently stuck at:
"http://www.w3.org/XML/2000/04schema-hacking/xhtml-mathml-ex.html:23:5:
Invalid
per src-resolve: undeclared element
{http://www.w3.org/XML/2000/04schema-hacking/mathml-renamed}:math"

I see:
"Attempt to import a schema document from
http://www.w3.org/XML/2000/04schema-hacking/html-renamed for
http://www.w3.org/XML/2000/04schema-hacking/html-renamed, succeeded"
but not attempt to get
http://www.w3.org/XML/2000/04schema-hacking/mathml-renamed
On what basis does XSV decide to try to find a schema
from the namespace name?
