Chris,

You raised an issue, 453[1], regarding use of RFC3391 in XOP ( ne้ MIFFY ) and MTOM. 

The XMLP WG has resolved this issue by deciding that XOP will allow use of RFC3391 although it will not define such a serialization. MTOM will mandate use of multipart/related. To use RFC3391 in SOAP, an RFC3391 based 'MTOM' spec would need to be written.

I trust this addresses your concerns. If not, please let the XMLP WG know as soon as possible.
