I almost don't dare but would it be possible for Mark Jones who I believe started this thread to reformulate the resolution as agreed upon? FWIW, my understanding is that A) features are abstract and do not necessarily reflect API or implementation concerns. B) A binding may state what operations it depends on being performed whether they are defined by the binding specification directly or inherited from other specifications. C) The HTTP binding is no exception and resolution A) and B) therefore apply to it including for the WebMethod property Is that close? Henrik
