Many commentators ( including those on the cc list ) raised the issue of defining the SOAP Encoding rules in terms of XML Schema ( or the opposing viewpoint ). The WG believes that the recent rewrite of the SOAP Data Model and SOAP Encoding, along with the planned appendices regarding schema validation, have between them addressed this issue.
